Can you hold our date?
Nicole Gesmondi reserves your date with a signed contract and a non-refundable 50% retainer. Once your retainer is received, pricing is locked in as well.
Is pricing negotiable?
Pricing is non-negotiable.
Why is the retainer non-refundable?
The signed contract is a legal document, as serious as the commitment that you are both making to each other. Nicole uses your retainer to reserve your date, turning away any other couples that inquire about your date. Most established professional photographers have a non-refundable reservation retainer. This provides compensation to the photographer for the loss of income they would have received from another customer had your wedding not been cancelled or otherwise changed.
How many photographers do I receive with my wedding collection?
Every wedding collection comes with two photographers: Nicole Gesmondi and a second photographer at no extra cost to the client. Two photographers are able to capture moments that happen simultaneously. This allows for complete coverage during your day.
What is the turn around time for your products?
The high resolution disc, images online and 4x6 proofs of every photo taken takes approximately 4 weeks. Albums take 7-9 weeks once final images are received. Nicole will call you to set up a pick up time.
Are there watermarks or logos on proofs?
Unlike many photographers, Nicole Gesmondi does not place her watermark or logo on the 4x6 prints or on the high resolution images that you receive on disc.
How many weddings do you shoot per day?
Nicole only photographs one wedding per day. She also only accepts a limited amount of weddings per year so that she can provide the best service and product.
What type of cameras do you use? Do you use film or digital?
Nicole shoots with professional Nikon digital cameras and has a wide array of lenses.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes. Between Nicole and her assistant, they have four Nikon digital camera bodies and over fourteen different lenses as well as a variety of memory cards and other equipment.
What happens if you are unable to make our day?
Nicole has a great network of professional photographers that would happily fill in for her if an extraordinary unforeseen circumstance prevented her from photographing your event.
