Aruba destination wedding photographerEarlier this month we had a wonderful opportunity and honor to photograph our first destination wedding in Aruba! And it was A-MAZING! The weather was gorgeous, the water really is THAT blue and everyone is nice and there was a Dunkin Donuts right on the beach! Too bad my Husband and I prefer Starbucks but we thought it was amusing! Lots of New Englanders vacation there and we can see why!

Aruba destination wedding photographerAruba destination wedding photographerLike most destination weddings, the venue included almost all of the vendors the couple would need. While their package did include a photographer, they felt it was necessary to bring someone they trusted and whose work they admired vs having a random person that 80+ pictures for them. After all, you only get married once! {usually} Aruba destination wedding photographerLucky for us, the very next day Paul and Kristen wanted to meet early to do a Trash The Dress session. This was a great opportunity for us t explore the other side of the island with people who knew where all the good spots were. We got to see the famous Bonsai Trees that are native to Aruba beaches and explore the historic ruins of Bushiribana Gold Mine's.
