Boudoir is about more than beautiful photographs. It’s about creating space to feel confident, fully present, and seen in a different way. I photograph boudoir sessions in my Warwick studio, creating intimate, artful images that feel polished, personal, and true to you.

Comfortable, Guided Boudoir Photography

Most clients tell me they feel a little nervous before their session, and that’s completely normal. My job is to make the experience feel easy, supportive, and even fun, so you can relax and trust the process.

You do not need to know how to pose or how to look a certain way in front of the camera. I guide you through everything, from how to move to where to place your hands, so the final images feel natural, elegant, and beautifully composed.

Boudoir at Nicole Gesmondi Photographer is about so much more than taking sexy pictures. It’s about giving yourself permission to slow down, be taken care of, and see yourself in a completely different way.

We welcome all bodies, identities, and seasons of life. What to Expect

What actually happens when you book?

If the thought of having boudoir portraits taken makes you feel a little nervicited (yes, that’s a word we use around here!), you’re not alone. My job is to make the entire experience feel comfortable, relaxed, and fun, from our very first conversation to the moment you leave the studio feeling a little more confident than when you walked in.

Start with a conversation

You don’t have to be ready to book when you reach out, and you certainly don’t need to have everything figured out. We’ll start with a conversation so I can learn a little about you, what brought you here, and what you’re hoping to get from the experience. I’ll answer all of your questions and walk you through how everything works.

No pressure. Just a chance for us to get to know each other.

Time to get ready

Once you’re booked, you’ll receive my boudoir prep guide with everything you need to know, from what to bring and what to wear to the little things that help you feel your best.

And if you have questions along the way, ask me. You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

Your morning of pampering

Your experience begins with professional hair and makeup, including lashes, in my private boudoir space.

Take a breath. Put on some music. Sip something and relax. For a little while, you get to forget about everyone else’s to-do list and let someone else take care of you.

In front of the camera

You don’t need to know how to pose, and you definitely don’t need to know what to do with your hands. That’s my job.

I’ll guide you through posing, movement, expressions, and the little adjustments that make each image look and feel natural. We’ll take our time, try different looks, and change outfits along the way. Somewhere along the way, you may surprise yourself with just how comfortable you become.

See your images same day

You don’t have to wait weeks to see your photographs. After your session, grab a coffee or lunch and come back that afternoon for your Viewing & Ordering Appointment. You’ll see your finished images for the first time and choose your favorites while you’re still feeling that confident high.

Together we’ll decide how you’d like to enjoy them, whether that’s an album, an Image Box, individual artwork, or a collection. Years from now, I want you to open that album and remember exactly how you felt that day.

The Studio

All boudoir sessions take place in my Warwick studio. The boudoir room is designed to feel like a boutique hotel suite and includes multiple styled sets, giving us a variety of looks while keeping the experience private, comfortable, and beautifully styled.

I’m a Rhode Island photographer with over twenty years of experience and a BFA in Photography from the Hartford Art School. My approach to boudoir is thoughtful, artful, and deeply client-centered. I want every person who walks into my studio to feel comfortable, guided, and beautifully seen.
