In 2016 we started offering our mini red truck holiday sessions at Indian Rock Farm in Scituate, Rhode Island. After many successful “Sold Out” years there we decided to change it up for 2022! While we loved our vintage truck, we felt it was time to move on as that look is everywhere now. We always strive to offer our clients a unique photography experience!
Obviously, it’s a no brainer for us to continue offering these adorable sessions because our clients love them – we just needed a new plan! The timing was perfect, because almost immediately an opportunity came up to collaborate with the Mount Hope Farm Farmers Market and we took it! If you don’t already know, this farmers market happens in Bristol at Mount Hope Farm every Saturday all year long – you should check it out if you haven’t yet!
We chose a Saturday in early October to set up a few sets around the property for our mini sessions. While we didn't continue with the red truck, our fan favorite custom props (like the hot chocolate and marshmallows) were back. We wanted to keep it simple with fall vibes, along with two holiday themed sets: one in the barn and one outside by their pretty little potting shed!
While big changes can be nerve-wracking, the feedback we received from new and returning clients was amazing - Everyone LOVED the new location and sets! From what we heard, families liked checking out the farmers market before and after their photo sessions. Also, the rustic set inside the barn was a favorite among everyone, so we’ll have to bring that back next year, too! Oh, and we are happy to report 2022 was another “Sold Out” year – even without the beloved red truck. Shout out to my assistant Shannon for helping out again this year!
