It’s hard to believe I first photographed this family ten years ago, and here I am photographing Liam’s high school senior portraits already! From a professional perspective (and also as a mom myself), I can guarantee you time FLIES by! Before you know it, your little ones are big ones and they’re off to college or getting married.
Liam’s mom Audrey also realized this and appreciates quality photos to capture her children as they grow, knowing they never stay the same way long! She hired us for Liam’s Blackstone Valley Prep senior photos because in her words, “School photos suck! A professional photographer captures the natural side of your child, the specific characteristics, their natural smile, who they are in one of the most important periods of their life.” - Bravo, Audrey!
Liam wanted his photos taken at his school so we met there on a weekend; it was ideal so we would have the property to ourselves. I encouraged him to bring a few outfits to change into along with any props like sporting gear to help personalize his session and represent what’s important to him. He plays soccer so we started on the soccer field where he is super at ease, and we went from there! Knowing we would be outdoors for this portrait session; we planned the shoot for later in the day when the lighting was softer and the heat wouldn’t have him breaking a sweat. Lately Septembers in New England have had some scorchers!
When I asked Audrey after the photo session if there was anything else she would like to share, she said,
"You have watched my family grow; you are my trusted source when I want to capture an important moment in my family's life. We found you when Sean was 3 - that's a 10 year relationship and it's not over yet!" That’s the type of heartwarming feedback that keeps us loving what we do – Thanks, Audrey!
