Matt and Danielle are long time clients of ours, it is hard to believe we met them when we photographed their wedding way back in 2010! In the years since, they have been busy; they now have two beautiful kids and recently built a house. While we have done family portrait sessions with them in the past, this one felt extra special because they invited us to their new home to take professional family portraits marking this major milestone in their lives (anyone who has bought a house or built a home – you get it!), we were honored!
The house is lovely and perfect for this fun, outgoing family! A super bonus to doing the photo shoot at their home is they have access to a pristine golf course. If you are a New Englander you know finding bright green grass in the winter is not easy, but there it was! We took a stroll over and the lighting just agreed with us, the sunbeams filtering through the trees was idyllic. If it were not for their winterwear, you would swear it was spring.
Matt and Danielle will get good use of these photos; we made them “We Moved!” cards to send to friends and family, along with prints to decorate their new home. Surely, they will cherish them forever. They mark the year that despite a pandemic, quarantining, distance learning, tele commuting, and building a house, they were still able to come together at the end of it all and smile.
