In 2016, we started offering our mini Red Truck holiday sessions at Indian Rock Farm. After many successful days with almost sold out time slots, it was a no brainer to continue to offer these adorable sessions. Not only did new families want to take advantage of these sessions, but also former wedding clients scheduled sessions with their own families. I love being able to capture all of life's important moments for our clients. Plus, it's always fun to catch up with clients.
Our mini sessions consist of 15 to 30 min sessions that all include 25 holiday cards {with the option to purchase more of course} and a holiday photo ornament {great gifts for the grandparents}. Most clients will take advantage of the additional savings our packages offer and purchase more photos as gifts for family (so much better than a sweater or a restaurant gift card).
Mini sessions are great for a variety of reasons:
1). You can try out a new photographer, you can come in just for one specific set of photos etc.
2). It's a great time to get printed products at a discounted price
3). Depending on the age of the children in the photo - sometimes a short session is all they can handle!
We are pleased to announce that we sold out again with 9 families booking our mini sessions. {yes one of the families was Paul and I – but hey! We need to send holiday cards too!}.
Below are photos from my own family session. As you can see, the photo of the 3 of us isn’t fabulous but I wanted to show that not all photo sessions run smoothly and are perfect.
