Senior PORTRAITS

this is your year

Senior portraits should feel like more than something you have to do for school. This is a chance to capture your personality, your style, and who you are right now — not in a stiff or overly posed way, but in a way that actually feels like you.

Portraits that feel like you

Senior year is a strange mix of things. There’s excitement, anticipation, a little uncertainty, and the sense that something big is about to begin.

When I photograph senior portraits, I want the session to feel relaxed and easy so you can settle in and just be yourself. I’ll guide you through the experience so you never feel awkward or unsure of what to do, but there’s also plenty of room for personality to come through naturally.

The result should feel like you on a really good day.

a few senior portraits

These images reflect the kind of senior photography I love most: natural light, relaxed confidence, and portraits that feel personal and real.

Kind words

“Nicole was SO wonderful to work with! I was stressed because I was a little late to the Senior photo shoot game… Nicole calmed my nerves and worked with me to find the perfect time. At the shoot she instantly had my daughter comfortable and at ease. The finished products are absolutely amazing.”

What to expect

Before the session, we’ll talk about location ideas, outfits, and the overall look you’re going for. Some seniors already have a clear vision, while others are figuring it out as we go. Either way is completely fine.

During the session, I’ll guide you through poses and movement so the photos feel natural without looking staged. Most seniors tell me afterward that the session felt a lot easier than they expected.

Studio or on location

Senior portraits can take place in my Warwick studio or on location somewhere in Rhode Island.

If you like something clean and minimal, the studio might be perfect. If you want something more outdoorsy, seasonal, or personal, we can photograph your session somewhere that fits your style.

Family Portraits

If your family is also hoping to update portraits, family sessions are a beautiful way to photograph this chapter together.

Seasonal Mini Sessions

If you’re looking for something shorter and more date-specific, seasonal mini sessions may also be worth exploring.

About Nicole

I’m a Rhode Island portrait photographer with over twenty years of experience and a BFA in Photography from the Hartford Art School.

When I photograph senior portraits, my goal is to create images that feel natural, confident, and true to the person in front of the camera. Not everyone loves being photographed, which is why I approach sessions in a relaxed, lightly guided way.
