Edgewood manor Cranston ri wedding day getting ready photos
Our wedding day coverage usually starts when the wedding couple is "getting ready."
This is the perfect time to capture all those wedding attire details as well as candids photos.

Kristina and Jason always dreamed of a small ceremony and reception surrounded by twenty to thirty of their closest family and friends, so a cozy winter wedding at Kristina’s priest’s parish followed by a reception at the Edgewood Manor in Cranston, Rhode Island was perfect for them!

The Victorian Decor of Edgewood Manor matched nicely with the vibe Jason and Kristina wanted for their wedding.

Since the Edgewood Manor is a Victorian era bed and breakfast stuffed with period antiques and décor from floor to ceiling, it was completely in sync with the vibe of their wedding theme. Can you believe they came upon this hidden gem by the happenstance of covid restrictions? Yup! Because Rhode Island allowed more wedding guests than Massachusetts, Kristina and Jason had to choose a venue here in the Ocean State. What luck! The manor was warm, cozy, and so unique! Seriously, we might need to arrange an overnight for ourselves – SUPER romantic!

Speaking of their wedding theme, lets talk about those details! Kristina and her bridesmaids were complete with lovely (faux!) fur shawls, pearls, and diamond brooches – straight out of the Victorian era! FYI (in case you were wondering like we were!) the GORGEOUS bouquets and boutonnieres are from an Etsy shop called Royal Wedding Decore! You are welcome!

We stayed at the reception a few hours and photographed the toasts, formalities, dinner, and cake cutting.

We enjoy photographing smaller, more intimate weddings because they allow us to be part of the event and really get to know the families throughout the day. We could tell family was especially important to Kristina and Jason, they even incorporated their fur babies (who could not attend!) into their décor with the custom cat cake topper and “I’m getting meowied” pin! The first dance and parent dances were very emotional for everyone watching – even us! It is just further proof you do not need hundreds of people at your wedding to make memorable moments that matter.
