Michael and Molly selected us as part of Wannamoisett Country Club’s Premium Wedding Package, which includes both a complimentary engagement session and full photography coverage on their wedding day. When I asked what they were hoping to get out of their experience with us, they said they were looking for “someone who listens to what we envision for our day, but also someone who gives advice!” It was important for them to have great wedding photos because they knew their wedding day would go by quickly (so true!) and wanted beautiful photos to remember all of the special moments and tiny details.
We were excited to meet and exceed their expectations!
Michael and Molly chose October 14th for their elegant and classic (but fun!) fall wedding. We met them both at the Graduate Providence Hotel for getting ready photos before heading to the church. They were married in Molly's childhood church since they believe faith is an important part of their lives, not to mention Molly grew up going to St. James and always imagined her wedding ceremony would be there someday - even though it is a long aisle to walk down!
While the ceremony was traditional, they wanted a more modern reception where guests could mingle and socialize after the formalities. It was packed with passed apps, late night snacks, and tons of dancing thanks to DJ Matty B! For their first dance they chose Joy of my life by Chris Stapleton. It was such a gorgeous song and Michael and Molly agree it was one of their favorite moments of the whole day. Right up until the last song, they were surrounded by friends and family, singing and dancing, just celebrating together. It was such a special way to end the night!
What was the favorite part of your ceremony and / or the reception?
Bride: The ceremony; standing at the doors and waiting to walk down the aisle. It was a moment I had envisioned my whole life, so when it came time, I was nervous - but also wanted to take the time to enjoy it.
Groom: Matty B as the DJ/live musical performance. He really made the night fun and got everyone up and moving on the dance floor.
What was your favorite part about working with us?
You were extremely easy-going and patient. We felt very comfortable, and you listened to our wishes. We wanted beautiful pictures (which was important to us) but also didn't want to miss our reception by taking pictures for hours.
Did we help solve any unexpected wedding day problems that may have come up?
When we were at the hotel getting ready to leave the bridesmaids needed their bouquets, but they were in jars full of water. You emptied each jar and dried the stems so they wouldn't stain the dresses - It was so appreciated!!!
