Ashley lives in Connecticut with her husband and son, but every year for the past five years they’ve rented the same beach house in Rhode Island with her in-laws for some summer fun. It is a tradition they look forward to annually!
This year, Ashley wanted to "do something special that would create a forever memory" for her mother-in-law, which inspired her to have family portraits taken during this year’s trip. After doing lots of online research and reading countless reviews, Ashley felt confident we would be the right family photographer for the task and "capture her family perfectly," as she put it!
Since they were vacationing in the Ocean State and were here for the ocean, naturally we opted for a beach setting for the portrait session. We coordinated timing via email and telephone to be sure everything was set for the big day. Afterwards, Ashley said her favorite part of working with me was how outgoing, patient, and attentive I was. Their family includes a few young children, and we were able to capture all the families in different views effectively without any meltdowns! She viewed her finished photos via Zoom (since they were back in Connecticut), and I asked Ashley what their favorite photo was. Love that she chose the one of the whole family because it shows "the family growing!"
Want to know what the best part of the entire process was for Ashley? The look of elation on her mother-in-law’s face when she saw all the individual families were captured for the photos. Happy reactions like that are music to my ears! We work hard to create a smooth experience with positive feedback from happy moms and happy moms-in-laws like this just prove we make it happen!
