We love referrals! This is how we met Fran and her family; she was given a gift certificate by one of her employees for the holidays last year, and we do appreciate it!
When we first connected, Fran wanted to arrange family portraits in May when she was in Rhode Island visiting her daughter and granddaughter. Well, life often has other plans and the timing didn't work out so we planned on fall instead. When in New England you may as well take advantage of our colorful foliage anyways!
We decided to schedule their family photos at Roger Williams Park in Providence and as luck would have it (you know how New England weather can be), the day was sunny with barely a breeze. If you’re familiar with the park you know it’s expansive with tons of architectural features, gardens, wooded areas, and waterways. We took some incredible shots in the pristine Japanese Garden; The landscapers had just finished the fall leaf clean up as if they knew we were coming - yay!
As usual, we started with the largest family portrait first with Fran, her daughter Bianca, and Chiara, her granddaughter - along with the menfolk, of course! We breakdown the portraits from there: mother-daughter, grandparents with granddaughter, father-daughter, daughter with husband and child, etc. We even got a few cute photos of Chiara by herself; she was a trooper and made it through the entire session! In our experience: Happy kid, happy parents, happy grandparents :-)
