We’ve known Ted and Kelly for a long time. We first met them in 2016 when they booked an engagement session (and later a wedding in 2017) with us! Photographing them was always memorable because they always included their Yorkie(s). Over the years we have done a variety of shoots for them and their fur babies!
Fast forward to 2022 for a very different photoshoot. This time, Kelly and Ted wanted to include their son Logan into the mix (without the dogs!) for fall portraits at Lincoln Woods. We are always so excited to see our couples grow and start their families. Since the holidays were right around the corner, Kelly and Ted wanted fall photos to send out on holiday cards and give as gifts.
We chose Lincoln Woods as our location because it is convenient and because it offers a lot of scenic variety. In early October it was the perfect nearby with colorful leaves, greenery, rocks of all sizes, and the lake. It was overcast (great for lighting) but VERY windy (tough for posing) that day but they were troopers and we were able to utilize almost the entire hour for the session.
Baby Logan was such a little ham. And did we mention how adorable they all looked in their matching tartans? We say it year after year: we love when our clients coordinate their outfits. Maybe it sounds corny or like a pain, but it’s really not and the final photos always look so cohesive! Definitely looking forward to watching this family continue to grow through my camera lens!
