Skipping into Ever After with Jason and Jess at Lakeview Pavilion

getting ready wedding photos

You might remember this fun couple from their stunning engagement session at Colt State Park last fall (if you don’t, check it out here). Jason and Jess had us laughing throughout their session, so we had a feeling their wedding this fall would be unforgettable – and we were right!

The most memorable part of the night was the best man speech by Jason’s two sons from a previous marriage. They had the room rolling when the oldest said, "Dad, don't mess this up this time!!!" It was a riot; and so nice to see a couple laugh so hard at their own wedding and truly enjoy themselves!

This was our first time shooting at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, Massachusetts and we adored the white walls and natural light – a great venue you can leave as is or dress up! Staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive to the couple, which matters to us, as well. A frustrated couple is not a photogenic couple! The food and presentation were also delicious, complete with donut bar and late night snacks – we recommend their cheeseburger slider; it was tasty!

Way back when, Jason and Jess were a referral from her good friend Kim, and after looking at reviews on the knot and Google they chose us for both their engagement and wedding photography. We consider ourselves fortunate; Jason and Jess are super easy and laid back to work with and always checked in and were appreciative of everything we did to make sure their big days went smoothly! When their original videographer fell through, we were able to recommend our friends at Annear Wedding Films to come in on the fly. This is one reason why it helps to have open communication and a good relationship with your photographer – they always know someone who can help in a pinch!
