Brian’s Brenton Point Proposal to Samantha

When Brian reached out to us in July 2020, he already had a plan for proposing to his love, Samantha. Knowing it was one of the most important days of his life, he knew he wanted their families there and he knew he wanted the moment photographed!
This was his plan: He coordinated a day trip to Newport with lunch at Castle Hill Inn and a stop at Brenton Point to enjoy the views of Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic. Unbeknownst to Samantha, Brian already told both their parents and siblings about his plans to propose and invited them to watch the show from the parking lot! How sweet is that!? A week before the big day, Brian sent us a screenshot of the exact proposal spot he planned to get down on bended knee along with a photo of them so we would know who to look for. No detail was missed!

July 18th was a beautiful sunny day, and we waited discreetly among the fishermen, surfers, and tourists for Brian and Samantha to make their appearance. Poor Brian was so nervous and excited he did not even make it to his designated proposal spot, he could not wait to pop the question! Luckily, we spotted them and came running just as he got down on bended knee. Samantha was shocked! With hands to her face in disbelief, she told him “Yes!”
Afterwards, their families came out of their hiding spots and an impromptu celebration happened right there in the parking lot. There was laughter, hugging, and tears of joy… and it was all caught on film!
