Nolan Family Portraits at Borderland State Park in North Easton, Massachusetts

The Nolan family originally reserved one of our Red Truck mini sessions, but they had to reschedule because their daughter was not feeling well. Nowadays we cannot take any chances with Covid, and we happily worked out an alternative so they would not miss a year of family portraits with us!

To make this mini-mini session more convenient for everyone, we decided to meet halfway between our homes at Borderland State Park in North Easton, Massachusetts. Which, by the way, is a really, really, great park! Awesome spots for foliage, water, wooden bridges, stone walls and even a castle. They also have a popular and large disc golf course, which we might have to go back and check out sometime when we are not working. Obviously, we will be recommending this park to our Massachusetts clients in the future!

holiday mini photos at Borderland State Park

While we could not bring our vintage Red Truck all the way up to Massachusetts, we offered to bring any of the other props we used in our holiday mini sessions, and they chose the ever popular hot cocoa stand. We set it up in the park without issue and got a few shots with it before moving along and taking advantage of all the beautiful scenery around us!

Abby and Mike are Beagle lovers from way back, so obviously their fur baby Annie was included with their 3.5 year old, AK in the family portraits, too! We love it when families include their pets, and we love it even more when they come prepared with treats to keep babies of all sorts entertained and well behaved. As you can see from the final photos, their plan worked perfectly. Annie sat still and AK brought all that beautiful sassy personality she is known for! Bravo, Abby and Mike!
