Rhode Island Fine Art Photography
Fine Art Photography
My journey through the lens began with earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Hartford Art School. My artwork has been featured in gallery exhibitions and esteemed publications, including JPG Magazine, Light Leaks Magazine, Rhode Island Monthly, and the University of Hartford’s Observer. My still photography also plays a key role in the 2012 documentary You Must Be This Tall.

Abstract Photography and Artistic Perspective
My artistic vision is rooted in abstraction, using distinctive angles, intimate viewpoints, and reflective surfaces to reframe ordinary subjects in unexpected ways. My work challenges perception and encourages viewers to slow down, look deeper, and engage emotionally with what they see. Rather than offering immediate clarity, I create space for curiosity and reflection, inviting people to experience familiar places and objects from an entirely new perspective.

Photography Philosophy: Capturing Authentic Moments
My work may embrace abstraction, but it remains grounded in the moment and in the everyday world around us. I’m drawn to preserving what is real, even when I present it in a way that feels unexpected or unfamiliar.
A Minimal Post-Processing Approach
After capturing an image, I do not usually rush to edit or heavily manipulate it. I believe in honoring what was truly there in front of the lens. As I often say, “The camera doesn’t lie. The photographer does. The camera just shoots what it sees.”
Vintage Camera Equipment and Film Photography
Beyond continuing to refine my craft, I have a deep love for vintage cameras and expired film. I am rarely without my faithful Holga and my cherished Polaroid pack, always ready when inspiration strikes.
